I don't think this is what God taught Israel about race when they were coming out of Egypt. If you read the entire Old Testament it appeared He really believed what He taught them about race from the beginning. There is nothing wrong with putting your family first and protecting them.
Perhaps. Family matters indeed. Is race then something like being Jewish? Or being white? Or being both? Can a black man be Jewish? And if he can, what race is he? The categories are so low level helpful that they create despair and confusion. For me... anyway. God chose His people indeed. Those people are now potentially all of us.

Jew here: there are Chinese, African and Indian Jews. Jews are not a race. Great post, by the way.
